Metamorphosis

I was birthed from the earth and formed by the firm yet caring hands of The Heavenly Creator who placed me in the care of my loving earthly parents.
Being the daughter of The Creator of the Universe, i have an innate love for nature and wild creatures. Since my birth i have always been aware that i was different from other human beings and as i grew and began to discover about my ancestry i have also developed a fascination for the minuscule things in life that to most humans, are mundane or ordinary but to me are a small yet beautifully precious display of The Creator's awesome power and love for this earth and the people in it.
Therefore, in everything i do (or make) i give all credit to the greatest artist and inspiration of all time and space; My Heavenly Father, God.

Sadly i never watched this show in full but this part is just so sweet!

Rather than shutting the doors; or in this case windows, to the surrounding dangers that her kid has to grow up in, Kima teaches her young son to be aware of the dangers of life in the hood, but only while being in the safety of her arms. Kima knows that while she may not be able to control the dangerous influences that come with growing up/ raising a child in the hood, and rather then turning a blind eye to it all, she can choose to teach her child to be aware of the dangers and how to overcome them at an early age and just hope that he will learn to grow up to make the right choices for himself.
